Resolution:

What is available?

Accelerated Reader and Accelerated Reader 360 Apps for iOS devices

The Acclerated Reader and Accelerated Reader 360 iOS apps will be retired.  Users can find the latest features and enhancements by accessing Accelerated Reader or Accelerated Reader 360 via a web browser on supported computers as well as mobile devices 7" or larger.  The iOS apps will not be supported after July 2017 and will be removed from the App Store.

Accelerated Math Student interface

Students can use a web browser on supported computers as well as on tablets 7 inches or greater to complete online assignments or score printed assignments, access instructional resources such as worked examples and math glossary terms linked to the problems they are working, and view their progress towards personal goals. If students are scoring printed Accelerated Math practices, they will also need a PDF reader to view/print the new practice, preferably Adobe Reader 9 or later.

Home Connect

Students are able to log in to Home Connect on iPads as well as other tablets 7 inches or greater. Students can view their reading and math practice, work in MathFacts in a Flash, score Accelerated Math practices and exercises (if the class preference is set to allow this type of activity), and view progress towards goals. If students are scoring printed Accelerated Math practices, they will also need a PDF reader to view/print the new practice, preferably Adobe Reader 9 or later.

MathFacts in a Flash

Students are able to use MathFacts in a Flash on tablets 7 inches or greater through Renaissance Place or Renaissance Home Connect.

STAR Student interface

Students can take STAR Custom, STAR Early Literacy, STAR Math, STAR Reading, and STAR Spanish tests/assessments on tablets 7 inches or greater in the following browsers:

  • Safari 6 or later
  • Chrome 23 or later (Not supported for STAR Early Literacy on Android devices.)
  • Firefox 27 or later
  • Silk on Kindle Fire HD or later
  • Internet Explorer 11

Not yet supported

At this time English in a Flash is not supported for student use on mobile devices.
