Issue:

Renlearn Print Plug-in Installers for Renaissance Place software

Reason:

Renaissance Place editions of Accelerated Math, Accelerated Reader, and MathFacts in a Flash require the Renlearn Print Plugin for direct printing. This browser plugin allows TOPS reports to print automatically at the end of Accelerated Reader quizzes (using the old interface) and MathFacts practices or tests. It is used in Accelerated Math to direct print assignments from the Assignment Book without previewing, and to generate the TOPS report when keyboard scoring.

Resolution:

The current version of the RLPrint Plug-in is version 1.3.12 for Windows computers running Internet Explorer, 1.3.13 for Windows computers running Firefox or Chrome, 2.1(2) for Macintosh OS X versions 10.4 and above, and 1.3(10) for Macintosh OS X version 10.3. To see a list of enhancements to the Renlearn Print Plug-in, see KB article #6779764.

Windows

Choose one of the following installers. You can use either of these to push out the Windows Renlearn Print Plugin to each of your workstations if you have that capability on your network.

Microsoft Installer (.msi)

1)    Click HERE and save the RLPrintPlugin.msi file to your computer. If you want, you can save it to a location that all of your workstations (with the same operating system) can access so you only have to download the installer once.

2)    Locate the installer you downloaded and double-click it.

3)    Follow the instructions in the Wizard to install the software, clicking [Finish] when the install is completed.

4)    Repeat this procedure at every computer your teachers and students will use.

InstallShield Installer (.exe)

1)    Click HERE and save the setup.exe file to your computer.

Note: If your Windows 2000 computers don’t recognize the .msi file, you may need to update your Windows Installer service to version 2.0. Visit Microsoft’s site at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/305496/en-us and follow the directions to download and install InstMsiW.exe for Windows 2000.
