Issue:

 

I am receiving an Error # -1 on Macintosh systems when using the student Quick Find feature in STAR Math 2.1.2.

 

The complete error message is:

 

STAR Math Management has experienced a fatal error.

Please contact Renaissance Learning, Inc. Technical Support at support@renlearn.com to correct the problem.

 

Error # -1

 

This will occur when using Quick Find for students in either the STAR Math Management or Student applications.  Clicking [OK] in the error message will force the application to terminate.

 

Reason:

 

This is a known issue in STAR Math version 2.1.2 for Macintosh.

 

Resolution:

 

This issue has been resolved in STAR Math version 2.1.3.  STAR Math version 2.1.3 will auto-update the 2.1.2 version. This update is available from our Download Center. For upgrade instructions, please see article #2447571.
