When running STAR Math Data Doctor, none of the files are being repaired and in the Data Doctor log, it says there is a "DB Header problem" in each file.

Product: STAR Math 1.x
Platform: Macintosh, Windows
Last Updated: 2007/08/13

Issue:

When running STAR Math Data Doctor, none of the files are being repaired and in the Data Doctor log, it says there is a “DB Header problem” in each file.

Reason:

STAR Math 1.0 Data Doctor was not Y2K compliant.  If you run the STAR Math 1.0 Data Doctor after the data has been used in the year 2000 or later, it cannot repair the files.

Resolution:

Upgrade to STAR Math 1.2 or the latest release of STAR Math.  This will upgrade the Data Doctor program to be Y2K compliant allowing you to run Data Doctor successfully.
