This article only applies to Renaissance Place Real Time applications.

Issue:

A Warning alert is appearing on the Renaissance Place login page indicating you are not able to access resources used by the software. You may also notice the login process is taking longer than normal.

Reason:

• You will see this alert if the computer is not able to access resources.renlearnrp.com.

• This alert may also appear if you are using an unsupported browser or operating system, such as Safari 1.3.2 on Macintosh OS X version 10.3.9.

Resolution:

Log into Renaissance Place as a personnel user on the computer where the alert is displayed. Next, click on the “What is Renaissance Home Connect” link under the Renaissance Home Connect section.

• If you see a message indicating Page cannot be displayed, Diagnose Connection, Access denied, or Safari can’t open the page, and are not able to continue on to view the PDF, you are blocking access. See KB article #9345286 for information on allowing access to resources.renlearnrp.com and other resources used in Renaissance Place. If you are not the person responsible for making this change to your firewall or proxy, please forward this article to the appropriate person.

• If you are using an unsupported browser or operating system, you may see the message, “Safari can’t verify the identity of the website” or “There is a problem with this website’s security certificate” when attempting to access the Home Connect PDF. You will be able to continue on and view the resource but the software may not function as designed.
